Kodak Black was set to perform at The House of Blues in Boston Wednesday night (Apr. 17), but never showed up. The concert was mysteriously canceled just moments before showtime leaving many fans angry. At the time, members of Kodak’s team apparently couldn’t get in contact with him and his whereabouts were unknown. The Florida rapper has now been found, and in trouble with the law.

TMZ reports Kodak was arrested on weapons and drugs charges at the U.S. Border on Wednesday. Law enforcement sources say that Kodak and two other people were detained by U.S. Customs Agents after attempting to enter Canada at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge in Niagara Falls, NY. Kodak, who was driving a Cadillac Escalade with a temporary California registration, had marijuana in his possession. After further inspection of the vehicle, border officials also found a Glock 9mm pistol in the Escalade.
A Porsche was also traveling with Kodak’s entourage with three other individuals in it. The driver of the Porsche copped to having 2 loaded handguns, while a third was found in the trunk along with more marijuana. A law enforcement source described one of the weapons as being an “AK-style handgun with a 30-round magazine. It looks like an AK, but it’s a handgun.”
Kodak was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge. Black, real name Bill Kapri, was arraigned in town of Lewiston Court and taken to Niagara County along with the three other men. All are currently in jail with their next court date being in May.
