Kris Jenner was just used as bait to serve Kanye West with the legal documents of a lawsuit against him.
Apparently, the rapper is so good at avoiding the public eye, it was needed a man with a special set of skills to find him and serve him the papers. According to The Jasmine Brand, Robert Poindexter, who accused Kanye of illegally sampling his song “Trying Girls Out” in the remix of “Girls Girls Girls,” has filed a lawsuit against the famed entertainer, demanding damages of the copyright infringement. The thing is, Poindexter has been attempting to track down Kanye for over a year to serve him with the lawsuit papers. He has failed numerous times despite even having the help of the United States Marshalls. So he hired a man named Nelson Tucker who is one of the few people to ever track down West. Subsequent to a total of 63 attempts at 9 different locations, Tucker finally got the job done, but not the way you’ve expected. He made a pretty slick move going to Kris Jenner’s Woodland Hills mansion, where Kanye has been living with Kim for over a year until they find a place of their own. Nelson contacted Jenner and served her the documents on the case. It is presumed that they are valid because she is a co-tenant with Kanye at the home. Now, the only thing left for Kanye is to answer the allegations of him allegedly stealing Robert’s music. We’ll keep you posted with the latest updates. Be sure to check us daily!
