Peckham rappers Kwengface & SL team up on the new song and video “For One”
On the track titled “For One,” which was produced by Nyge and is included on Kwengface’s next album titled “The Memoir,” Kwengface teams up with fellow Peckham rapper SL. The opposing flows of Kweng and SL mix wonderfully against the joyful, easygoing music, which demonstrates the cadences and range of both artists.
The poker game in the action movie-inspired music video takes an unexpected turn once the lead’s location is revealed to be compromised. The video was directed by Lutch Media, while Simon Stolland, who worked on the highly renowned film Blue Story, was responsible for the photography. Kweng has had a very busy start to 2023, opening out the year with his solo song “Ben10,” which was immediately followed by an unexpected R&Drill collaboration with Mnelia on “White Lies.” This goes to show that there is nothing that Kweng can’t or won’t accomplish this year.
