Just over a month later releasing the single Homesick, the group Kyoto Skies are back with the (aptly named) “Start Again”, a cinematic anthem that rolls in on morose piano lines and buoyant synth loops before bursting into vivid tidal waves of epic fuzz just after the one-minute mark. It’s a little bit beefier than the relatively restrained, introspective energy of “Homesick”, but with a breathtaking drop like that, we’re definitely not complaining. Fans of Vallis Alps or even London Grammar will feel “Start Again” on a spiritual level.
