Lauryn Hill is a free woman, having been released from prison today.
Lauryn Hill, who released a new track called “Consumerism” last night, has finished serving her three-month sentence for tax evasion.
Lauryn was released from the minimum security Federal Correction Institution in Danbury, Connecticut early this morning. The singer had been in jail since July, serving time for not paying her taxes on over $1.8 million that she earned between 2005 and 2007.
