London-based songwriter Lebs and Hong Kong newcomer AP link up for the release their first collaborative release ‘1 of 1′.
‘1 of 1’ is a cross-culture track, where the two artists trade infectious verses over a UK Drill beat fused with Eastern influences. Although only his debut release, AP sounds comfy and confident on the mic as he raps in both Mandarin and English. The accompanying video – shot by Bailey Nathanael – visually brings their two worlds together, highlighting the street fashion of both London and Hong Kong.
Lebs’ sound is a familiar yet standout blend of Hip Hop, R&B, UK Rap and Afrobeats that has been championed by the likes of GRM Daily and Link Up TV. Lebs’ ambitions don’t stop at music, channeling his creative energy and entrepreneurial essence into his own collective Maison4k. AP is a multi-dimensional creative known for his unique fashion and styling, which developed whilst living all over the world.
