South London’s rising musician Len drops his new single video, ‘SOLACE’ .
Drawing on influences from Jungle, Drum and Bass and Rave culture, ‘SOLACE’ blends atmospheric synths and pulsing bass stabs to present an ethereal sound that adds to Len’s unpredictable and ever-evolving sound. The 22-year-olds signature airy vocals and liquid flow meet seamlessly across the up-tempo Len + Blocco Beatz-production creating something that is both nostalgic and unorthodox. Offering full transparency with his toxic romance – “You said with me that you found solace, solace/I found the same thing in the moshpit baby” – he showcases the highs and lows of his emotions in the Ben Wescott (Akemi Fox, [K S R]) directed visuals.
“Solace is about the sticky position of knowing someone isn’t good for you yet feeling like you can’t leave. It’s about feeling like your happiness is drained to the point you’re clinging onto good memories to fool yourself that things are okay.”
