Leon Thomas Releases Debut Album “Electric Dusk”

Leon Thomas

The long-awaited debut album from Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Leon Thomas, Electric Dusk, is out now on EZMNY Records/Motown Records/EMI.

Electric Dusk, named after Los Angeles’s longest-running drive-in cinema, is Leon’s ode to films and a recounting of his struggles over the past several years. Album opener “Sneak” is a sensual R&B cut that perfectly captures the dynamic sound that Leon consistently provides. Tracks like “Breaking Point,” “Love Jones” (with Ty Dolla $ign), “X-Rated” (featuring Benny The Butcher), “Crash and Burn,” and “Breaking Point” (featuring Victoria Monét) were released individually prior to the album’s release.

The musically varied Electric Dusk takes its listeners on a journey through alternate worlds where love, loss, and development are explored. Fans of Leon Thomas’s R&B music have been waiting a long time for this album to finally be out. The “more motion less emotion tour” for Ty Dolla $ign begins up September 15 in San Diego and wraps up October 27 in San Francisco, and Leon will be the opening act for the whole run.
