Tonight, the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards are taking place. Award shows in an era where people can’t really meet up have been an interesting thing to see pan out but the way they’re being done is arguably the preference for most fans and the performances are even more of a focus.

Big Sean, Jhene Aiko & Ty Dolla Sign Perform ‘Body Language’ At 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards
Big Sean is having a great year, as far you can in 2020 anyway. The rapper put out his new album Detroit 2 at the top of last month to a great reception from both fans and critics. It’s being heralded as some of his best work. You can stream it here.

City Girls Perform ‘Kitty Talk’ & ‘Jobs’ At 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards
Leaks are rare in 2020 but they still happen and back before the summer, City Girls suffered a leak of their album City On Lock. While they’re never ideal, what happened with this leak was great because fans got to realise how good the album was and then supported it when it officially dropped.
Tonight at the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards, City Girls performed two of the bigger songs on the project, ‘Kitty Talk’ and ‘Jobs’. At the end, they campaigned for fans to vote. Watch it below.
Quavo Performs Pop Smoke Tribute at BET Hip Hop Awards 2020
Pop Smoke took home the award for “best new artist” at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2020 on Tuesday night which of course is very well deserved.
The charismatic rapper is not here with us anymore, but his friend Quavo paid a tribute to him by performing their collaborations ‘Shake The Room’ and ‘Aim for the Moon’ in the pre recorded production. Watch it below.
