Lil Durk Takes ‘Complex’ To Chicago.
Though it has a violent history, Lil’ Durk is always proud to be from the south side of Chicago. More specifically, he reps the Englewood section of the ‘Go — and credits his tough upbringing as one of his biggest motivations to stay focused on his rap career.
Durk has witnessed too many of his childhood friends meet an early grave or the penitentiary, but wants more for himself and family. As you’ll see in the latest episode of Complex’s Neighborhood series, the 300 rapper is nothing but grateful about his rise from his “grandmother’s cramped three bedroom apartment in the ghetto to a spacious house in the ‘burbs.”
