The full indictment document which points out Young Thug and Birdman conspired with the incarcerated Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, also known as Peewee Roscoe, to shoot at Lil Wayne’s tour bus or maybe even kill him were revealed and things are not looking good for Baby and his protege.
As per the docs, Birdman, real name Bryan Williams, and Young Thug, real name Jeffrey Williams, were on the phone with Jimmy Winfrey shortly before and after he shot at Lil Wayne’s tour bus. The indictment follows the events surrounding the shooting. It states that before leaving his spot and driving to the Compound in Atlanta where Tunechi was performing, Winfrey “was in contact by cell phone with cell phone connected to Jeffrey Williams.” He also called Thugga while chasing Lil Wayne’s two tour buses which got escorted by police.
After police discontinued their escort, Winfrey pulled beside the buses and fired shots at both vehicles. While escaping the scene, he stopped using his phone for a while before he “placed a call to a cell phone owned by Bryan Williams.”
The documents also reveal Winfrey was charged with a total of 30 counts on 6 charges – aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage, possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, reckless conduct, and discharging a weapon near the street.
To sum thing up, Winfrey will most probably spend a few years in prison. As for Birdman and Young Thug, there is a huge chance they will be charged with conspiracy. Stay tuned for an update.
