In his lean-inspired hymn “Poland,” Lil Yachty brings the noise from the other side of the pond after a relatively quiet year.
The accompanying video, which was directed by Cole Bennett, is released by Lil Boat after it swiftly gains traction on social media.
Shot in New York City, Lil Boat showcases his high-pitched vocal range over F1lthy’s production, which lasts little under one minute and a half and is heavily synthesised. He can be seen going around the subways and streets of the Big Apple while wearing an American Idol competitor hoodie and singing, “Phone still ringing, battling all my problems / I been fiending, baby girl, I been fiending.” I hope you truly love me, sweetie, when you say that.
Since his 2021 mixtape, Michigan Boat Boy, Lil Yachty has only released one solo song, “Poland.”
