After debuting Drake and Future’s What a Time To Be Alive on their last show, OVO Sound Radio returned to Apple Music’s Beats 1 on Saturday. Episode 7, a nearly 3 hour extended show, as lead by Oliver El-Khatib’s mix featuring songs by Beyoncé, Erykah Badu, Static major, Jamie xx, Disclosure and Young Thug. Producer Boi-1da was up next, taking listeners down his long catalogue of hits over the past six years for Drake, Jay Z, Lil’ Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Jamie Foxx.
Closing out the mixshow was OVO Sound singer/producer/songwriter PARTYNEXTDOOR. The Mississauga native took advantage of the airtime, debuting 7 new tracks, along with songs by The Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent, Lil’ Wayne, Gucci Mane, and 112 in between.
