Kanye West Discusses His 2020 Presidential Campaign With BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac.
Kanye West phoned into Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show earlier today, where he talked about his “depressing”Glastonbury set last summer, the impact of his “Famous” video, wanting to collaborate with IKEA and his plans to make $30 shoes with adidas (which might be a real possibility now that he’s with them for the long haul).

Mr. West also kicked off his 2020 Presidential campaign with a powerful statement on the current lack of humanity in the country. “We are numb, we’re numb to 500 kids getting killed in Chicago a year, we’re numb to the fact that it was seven police shootings in the beginning of July,” he said.
“When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views,” he added. “I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth. If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I’m alive I’m going to try to do it.”
Although he didn’t debut a new song like we would have hoped, Kanye announced that “Fade” is his next single off The Life of Pablo because of its stadium status appeal. Listen to Kanye’s full interview with Annie Mac below.
