Listen to These ‘The Life of Pablo’ Leaks Featuring Travi$ Scott, Bon Iver & More.
So as it turns out, the copy of Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo we’ve all been streaming on TIDAL and definitely haven’t been forced to illegally download is only a “partial version,” with the “final version” set to be released (read: streamed exclusively) on Hov’s music platform later this week. In the meantime, the Internet has been doing what it does best and unearthed a handful of leftover album cuts and unreleased demos.
Included in the batch are supposedly “OG” versions of six The Life of Pablo songs, including “FML” featuring The Weeknd and Travi$ Scott, “Highlights” with a slightly different beat and — drum roll please — a new edit of “Wolves” which combines Vic Mensa and Sia’s original parts with Kanye’s verse and Frank Ocean’s vocals, now on the intro.
There’s also three unheard — and in some cases, unfinished — tracks, including “New Angels,” “Fall Out of Heaven” featuring The-Dream and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and “The Mind Is Powerful” that sounds like it’s produced by Pharrell. How many of these songs, if any, wind up on the finished version of The Life of Pablo remains to be seen.
Listen below…
