Following the release of his recent, thrilling tracks “Being Me” and “Part 2”, South West London’s Louis Culture drops a signature final offering, “Britannia”, featuring another of the finest breakthrough artists in the city in Master Peace. “Britannia” is the final teaser from Louis’ new EP “Smile Soundsystem” scheduled for release tomorrow (May 29th).
Britannia — a rare sung chorus from Peace, Louis continues to innovate and intrigue, coming through as that rare mix of a product of his estate in Battersea with too much talent to be pigeonholed into anything but his own trajectory and lane. Bringing natural comparisons to the likes of Kwes, Slowthai, Jeshi and Dean Blunt as precocious new generational voices unwilling to be constrained by the tags of ‘rap’ or hip hop’.
