Machine Gun Kelly is hitting a creative groove right now. The Cleveland rapper’s “Bad Things” single with former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello is a mainstay on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 6. MGK also starred in the film The Land last year, executive produced by Nas. For the soundtrack, Machine Gun Kelly contributed the song “Dopeman,” which now gets an official video directed by Steven Caple Jr.
In the clip, MGK and his crew of masked bandits run through the dark streets ready to serve those ready for a quick fix. “After working with Steven Caple Jr. on the movie The Land, it was only right that we collaborated on the “Dopeman” video,” the rapper tells Billboard who premiered the video. “I envisioned a cinematic video that I knew he could deliver, and the visuals he presented surpassed my expectations… I think we found the perfect blend of the streets & visual art.”
