Thanks to some added free time due to the unfortunate circumstances, Mahalia was able to discover some old gems she had tucked away on her computer. Picking a trio of tracks to release, Mahalia shares a new EP.
Seven months removed from Love & Compromise, Mahalia celebrates her birthday with the Isolation Tapes. In speaking on the EP, she revealed it came as a result of her newfound effort to look into the past more often.
“I never really go back,” she said in an interview with Apple Music. “I’m always talking about what’s happening now and what’s present… But as I grow up, I find more stories from when I was younger that I find myself wanting to talk about.”
