Manchester-born, Zimbabwean-rooted artist Meduulla releases her debut album Tabula Rasa, a project that blends spoken word, jazz-rap, and golden-era Hip-Hop influences into her most expressive body of work yet.
Opening with the stripped-back “Shangri La”, Meduulla’s poetic delivery sets the tone for an album rooted in self-love, empowerment, and new beginnings. Highlights include the bold focus track “Rule No.1” featuring Summer Pearl and Niambi, the nostalgic “Baldwin” and “Wolfpack”, and “Melanin Monroe” alongside fellow Zimbabwean ROZZZQWEEN, a powerful celebration of Black womanhood.
Across its journey, Tabula Rasa showcases Meduulla’s lyrical depth, weaving stories of identity, connection, and resilience — proof of her transition from award-winning poet to one of the UK’s most exciting rap voices.
