AR-AB is officially involved in the feud between Meek Mill and Drake. After receiving a name drop in Drake’s “Back to Back,” the former showed love to the Canadian and his OBH goons even threatened the MMG signee. Then AB caught up with DJ Vlad for an interview and made two very clear points: in spite of his Drake-affiliation, he is not signed to OVO Sound just yet; he has no issues with Meek Mill. Well, the second statement is no longer valid.
Last night during Nicki Minaj’s tour stop in New Jersey, in addition to blasting Drake once again, Meek also issued a few shots at AR-AB for siding with someone who is not from Philly. This ads up to Mill’s previous allegations his hometown foe is a snitch.
F*** Ar-Ab. How dare a f***ing Philly n**** d*** ride a n**** from out of town,” Meek told the crowd. “Let em know that comes straight from Meek Mill. All them n****s p****.”
It didn’t take long before AR-AB caught wind of the diss and took to Twitter to address Meek Mill. He told him he hopes he lives up to his words and called him emotional. AB also accused him of trying to adopt Atlanta’s trap influence, instead of remaining true Philly’s mud music.
I just hope n****s can stand behind they words,” he wrote. “While n****s tryna make Trap Music on some ATL s***… We making MUD Muzik on some Philly s***… How you gone talk gangsta s*** from a Pink stage??.”
Of course, AR-AB also brought up his gang-affiliated background and made it clear the beef is officially on.
