Meek Mill In Concert - New York, NY

Seemingly out of nowhere, this night Meek Mill took to Twitter for an extensive 31-tweet rant. Unexpectedly, the MMG signee got at one of the rappers who we thought was a close friend of his, Drake. Nicki Minaj’s boo exposed his frequent collaborator, who ended up on “R.I.C.O.” from his current album Dreams Worth More Than Money, and accused him of not writing his own lyrics.

Meek wrote that he is sick of getting compared to Drizzy and added he believes the Canadian is using a ghostwriter. Also, he claimed that the Toronto native never promoted DWMTM because he knew Mill’s team blew his cover.

“Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps!” said Meek. “That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!”

Further, Meek said that Drake didn’t write his verse for “R.I.C.O.” and that if he knew the truth before dropping the LP, he would have removed his contribution.

He ain’t even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album….. I don’t trick my fans! Lol,” he said.

As well, the Dreamchasers leader claimed the fact someone else writes Drizzy’s bars is not a secret and even Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj were aware of it, but never opened up about it because they are “scared.”

The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can’t wait tok these guys and sit back and act like they don’t know!” he said. “Other artist know tho? lil Wayne and Nicki know ….. Ask em they gone act like they don’t see them tweets.”

At the very end of his rant, Meek name-dropped an up-and-coming rapper whose name is Quentin Miller, suggesting he is the one who writes Drake’s lyrics, but before that Meek gave props to Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, and took a jab at Nicki‘s ex, Safaree “SB” Samuels. His MMG boss Rick Ross also stepped in to defend his signee, writing, “@MeekMill speaking facts!!!! Luv myn**** 4L.”
