Watch Meek Mill’s video for “We Ball” featuring Young Thug.
Meek Mill may be spending the holidays behind bars, but that won’t stop him from grinding. The Philly rapper drops a second video for his Young Thug collaboration “We Ball” off Wins & Losses.
The somber clip, dedicated to the late Lil Snupe and all the “fallen soldiers,” opens with Meek holding a Snupe chain while rapping in a cemetery. While pallbearers carry a casket, Meek pays tribute to his fallen friend.
“So I’ma hold it down ’til we all win,” he raps. “We’ve been at the clear port ballin’ / I just want to see my ni**as flossin’.”
He later meets up with Thugger, who delivers his rhymes in a church-like setting. He raps at the pulpit while images of people of all faiths praying for their lost ones appear on screen. The visual ends with the #JusticeForMeek hashtag, which was also used in the recent video for “Fall Thru.”
Before he was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison, Meek released a “lifestyle” video for “We Ball” featuring footage of a rapping Snupe, who passed away in 2013 at the age of 18.
