Meek Mill Freestyles Over Drake’s “Back to Back” on HOT 97

Meek Mill’s fourth studio album, CHAMPIONSHIPS, is blazing up the streets and social media since its release last week. The star-studded project featuring appearances by JAY-Z, Drake, Rick Ross, Cardi B, Ella Mai and more is projected to move 175k-200k units opening week, set to debut No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart next week. Continuing his recent promo run, the Dreamchaser stopped by HOT 97’s Funkmaster Flex Show. After touching on burying beefs with Drake, The Game and fellow Philadelphia rapper Oschino Vasquez, the MMG spitter decided to kick an 8-minute freestyle.

Bringing things full circle, Meek Mill first drops some bars over Drake’s 2015 diss track towards him “Back to Back.” The 31-year-old would later play around over The Clipse’s “Mr. Me Too” before closing the session off flowing over Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… classic “Incarcerated Scarfaces.”
