He was sentenced to three-to-six months in prison for a probation violation in July. The incarceration delayed the September release of his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money.
Meek will reportedly be assigned to community service and anger management counseling. Per his probation, he will not be allowed to travel outside of Philadelphia.
According to TMZ, Meek was officially released from prison on Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 2). Rick Ross confirmed the news, tweeting, “Meek home.”
He won’t be able to leave Philly until he completes his community service and treatment program.
His friends including A$AP Ferg, Kevin Hart, and Mike WiLL Made-It took to Twitter to welcome him back.
