Meek Mill responds to Drake’s “Charged Up” via twitter.
Drake remained mum on social media in the last few days after Meek Mill accused him of using a ghostwriter. During the second episode of the OVO Sound Show on Beats 1, Drizzy responded to the Philly native with a diss track titled “Charged Up.”
The song doesn’t contain a name drop and is more of a lengthy subliminal filled with a fair amount of quotables such as, “I see you niggas having trouble going gold / Turning into some so and so’s that no one knows / But so it go,” which is an obvious reference to Meek’s Dreams Worth More Than Money which pushed over 300,000 units it its first 11 days on the charts, but struggles to reach the Gold certification.
“Charged Up” also contains a jab at Funkmaster Flex, who premiered the reference track for “10 Bands” by Quentin Miller the other day and continues to get at Drake on social media.
As soon as Meek heard the diss, he took to Twitter to respond to the Canadian rapper by writing, “Baby lotion soft……,” and, “I can tell he wrote that 1 tho……” Listen to “Charged Up”
