Memphis Bleek is back and better than ever with his latest single, “Durag Bleek,” produced by the legendary Just Blaze. The flashy visual, directed by Shula The Don, features the Brooklyn rapper and Roc-A-Fella alumnus living it up in a luxurious Miami pad, reflecting on his rise and current hustle.
Bleek delivers hard-hitting bars like, “You know I got my mind right / I got a story let me show you what it sound like / I used to whip the coke in a little water / And then I move that flower, I’m out in Florida,” while enjoying bottles of D’USSE and Ace of Spades in the studio.
Memphis Bleek’s last major label project was his fourth studio album, 534, released in 2005. He has since dropped numerous mixtapes, including The Movement 2 (2014) and Kush Vol. 2 (2012). In 2015, he launched his own label, Warehouse Music, and featured on the late DJ Kay Slay’s “Rolling Deep 50” in 2020.
