Metro Boomin’s long-awaited sophomore album, Heroes & Villains, is now out after a little delay.
Throughout the 15-track set, the producer and rapper brings in a slew of star-studded guests. “Niagara Falls (Foot Or 2)” features Travis Scott and 21 Savage, while “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” has Chris Brown and Future. 21 Savage also appears alongside Young Nudy on “Umbrella,” The Weeknd on “Creepin,” and Mustafa on “Walk Em Down (Don’t Kill Civilians).”
Gunna (“All The Money”), Don Toliver (“Too Many Nights”, “Around Me”, “I Can’t Save You”), John Legend (“One Time”), and the late Takeoff, who makes a posthumous cameo on “Feel The Fiyaaaah” which also features A$AP Rocky.
Heroes & Villains is also accompanied by a short film, which was released a few days before the album. Young Thug, Gunna, and Morgan Freeman all appear in the 6-minute video.
Heroes & Villains is Metro Boomin’s follow-up to his first album, Not All Heroes Wear Capes, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 2018. Savage Mode 2, his joint album with 21 Savage, debuted at the top of the charts in 2020.
