Metro Boomin’s ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ Debuts No. 1 on Billboard

After somewhat disappearing for most of 2018, Metro Boomin’s return has topped the chart. Young Metro’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes project debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart this week. Released earlier this month, the guest-heavy album moved 99,000 equivalent album (5,000 in traditional album sales) opening week according to Nielsen Music. Streaming provided a bulk of the album sales as it gathered 125.3 million on-demand audio streams. Metro Boomin now lands his first-ever No. 1 album to go with his first Hot 100 No. 1 record, the Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” which he produced.

Not All Heroes Wear Capes features guest appearances by Drake, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Kodak Black, Swae Lee, Gucci Mane, J Balvin, 21 Savage, Offset, Gunna and WizKid.
