Migos show love to the home team on “11 Birds,” inspired by Falcons WR Julio Jones, who shows up in the new music video.
The Atlanta Falcons have been gifted a new anthem, courtesy of their city’s greatest trap group. The Migos have partnered with Champs Sports to share their latest track, “11 Birds,” which comes with a new music video. “Here go the birds,” Quavo chants on the hook, in between ad-libbed bird calls from his groupmates. The song is dedicated in particular to wide receiver Julio Jones (#11), who is a close friend of the ATL trio.
“11 Birds” was previewed a few days ago in a promo clip that was narrated by Jones. The Falcons all-pro and the Migos are the stars of Part 3 of Champs’ “The Moment” series. Quavo also showed up in the first installment, in which he and T.I. cooked up a track called “Baller Alert,” inspired by Brandon Marshall. Part 2 brought together Desiigner and Dak Prescott, which led to the song “Outlet.”
The “11 Birds” video ends with the year’s most impressive football highlight, a true trapper’s spiral (and swish) from former high-school QB Quavious Marshall.
