Drop top, rain drops, Migos and Lil Uzi Vert’s “Bad And Boujee” is the No. 1 song in the United States.
Over the last two weeks, the song jumped from the late 20s up to No. 13 and then up to No. 2 last week — one spot behind Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” — on the Billboard Hot 100. But thanks to streaming and a ton of chatter across social media (there were lots of articles out there like this and this about why “Bad And Boujee” got as big as it did as quick as it did), it’s now the top record in the country.
This is by far the Migos’ most successful song on the charts. Quavo, Offset and Takeoff previously got as high as No. 69 with “Fight Night.”
Donald Glover shout out the song Sunday night at the Golden Globes after winning an award for Best Comedy Series. Migos were in an episode of Atlanta and undoubtedly have had one of the biggest impacts on hip-hop over the last four-plus years. (So much so, Glover called them “The Beatles of this generation.”)
