With their new album CULTURE II dropping next week (Jan. 26), the Migos stopped by Beats 1 radio for an interview with Ebro Darden. During the 23-minute conversation, the Atlanta group discussed CULTURE II, releasing it on the 1-year anniversary of their platinum-selling CULTURE, their latest smash-hit “Motor Sport,” Cardi B and Nicki Minaj not being in the video together, being nominated for multiple GRAMMYs including “Best Rap Album,” Takeoff being the first in the group to rap, and working with Pharrell on “Stir Fry.”
Quavo also touched on his Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho album with Travi$ Scott, while Offset discussed coming together with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage on Without Warning. The group would later speak on their recording process and ended the interview showing love to Joe Budden, who they’ve had issues with recently.
