Migos’ Rich Nigga Timeline, their first Rich The Kid-less tape since February’s No Label II, drops tomorrow, and a day ahead of timeline, the Atlanta trio share “Hit Em.” It’s produced by Deco.
Beginning with delicate, flute-like synths, the track soon incorporates booming bass and distant sirens. Midway through, a beautiful, methodical piano line comes fluttering through, adding a bittersweet vibe to this otherwise celebratory track. The triplet-loving tripartite of Quavo, Offest and Takeoff seem to split the mic fairly democratically on this one, all overlapping with each others’ voices to create that chemistry that only the Migo gang can conjure up.
