Offset Released From Jail.
Migos rapper Offset may be finally getting a new bail hearing stemming from charges where jail officials said he started a brawl in prison. However, his legal team is now demanding his release. They claim the prosecutors’ “evidence” doesn’t make any sense.
Offset has been held in custody without bail since his arrest for drugs and weapons charges with the rest of the Migos back in April.

In new docs, obtained by TMZ, Offset says video footage from inside the jail shows no clear image of him, and only lasts for 20 seconds. His point — even if it were him, which isn’t clear, how could a RIOT only last 20 seconds?
Offset and his attorney will present their case in a bail hearing on Friday, which will be his FOURTH attempt at getting released. We’re told they’ll say there’s no evidence to even support a trial, much less hold him without bail for 233 days.

UPDATE: Offset has been released from jail. QC labelmate Rich the Kid first broke the news on Twitter, later posting a picture with the Migos member soon after he was released. Migos manager Kevin “Coach K” Lee later confirmed to FADER that Offset was indeed released.
In a phone conversation with FADER, Offset’s lawyer Drew Findling explained that Offset agreed to an alford plea deal, where he will serve five years probation. The sentence can be brought down to two years on good behevior. The probation stems from incidents that happened while Offset was in prison, while the main case was dismissed this afternoon.
“He was put in a position where he felt like his arm was held behind his back, he wanted to support his children. He made a decison that it was time to choose freedom,” Findling tells FADER.
