Miranda Inzunza – Take f/ Jahs

Take by Miranda Inzunza is a very strong record which pours out a very deep and emotional feeling. This song speaks of being used, of giving but not receiving, of being in a “relationship” were the only one that feels like being in one sadly is only you because the other person has other plans.

”When I wrote this song I didn’t think I was going to show it to anyone. It felt too real and too honest. I had really only written it for myself, but as time went on I realized that sharing it with other people was much more healing than letting it sit as a voice memo on my phone. This was one of those songs that almost felt like it wrote itself, because it basically did. I hope people will connect to the rawness and vulnerability of it.”
