East London composer and singer-songwriter Msaki joins forces with South African platinum-selling artist Jesse Clegg for the release of their collaborative visual EP Entropy. The six-track project moves fluidly across alternative indie, pop and global textures, creating a soundscape rooted in storytelling yet expansive in reach.
Exploring themes of loss, transformation and rebirth, Entropy feels both intimate and cinematic. African musical traditions meet layered, contemporary production, resulting in a body of work that is emotionally rich and sonically adventurous.
Produced by Greg Abrahams and Nicholas Patricia, with Grammy Award-winning engineer Damian Taylor overseeing mixing and mastering, the EP carries a polished yet organic feel. Each track is accompanied by a visual chapter, forming an episodic narrative. “Wayside Lover” unfolds as Episode 4, “How Dare You” as Episode 5, while “Untimely Disclosure” anchors Episode 2.
Entropy is more than a collaborative project, it’s a carefully constructed audio-visual experience that bridges continents and genres with intention.
