Birmingham International recording artist, musician and songwriter Namywa, returns with her new single ‘Sober’.
The new single “Sober” showcases Namywa’s talent to the fullest as she attacks the instrumental with her amazing vocals singing about her vulnerability but re-affirming her worth. She drives the track gradually from the bottom and takes it straight to the top in epic style making it clear that she is definitely one to watch out for with her outstanding vocal strength.
Speaking on the inspiration behind ‘Sober’ she tells us: “Sober is that defining moment when you realize you don’t need your side of the story told. I know a lot of people’s stories go untold and I hope this song helps them to find peace in knowing they are worth it and that they are sober from the dark side of love.”
Namywa’s music is inspired by artists like Amy Winehouse, Diana Gorden, Yebba, Paloma Faith, Lauryn Hill, and Jill Scott.
