KiD CuDi’s eighth studio album serves as the soundtrack for the Netflix animated series Entergalatic.
The Cleveland superstar’s trip into uncharted terrain is followed in the graphic album Entergalatic’s defiant hit “Do What I Want.” On the love song “Willing To Trust” with Ty Dolla $ign, who also makes an appearance on the song “Can’t Shake Her,” KiD CuDi also examines the subject of love. In the 15-track collection, 2 Chainz provides a helping hand on the song “Can’t Believe It,” and Don Toliver makes two appearances—on the bonus track “Burrow,” which also features Steve Aoki and Dot Da Genius, and on “Somewhere to Fly.”
CuDi plays comic book artist Jabari in the television show Entergalactic. He balances his life in New York City between art, fashion, and music while also developing a new relationship with Meadow, his next-door neighbour (Jessica
Williams). The series is produced by “Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris.
Entergalatic the album, is KiD CuDi’s first LP since his 2020’s Man On The Moon 3: The Chosen. Since then, he’s contributed to music for both the Sonic The Hedge Hog 2 and The Harder They Fall soundtracks and has recently collaborated with Willow, Ariana Grande, Nigo, and Dot Da Genius. Over the summer, CuDi release the first installment of his greatest hits compilation, The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1. Meanwhile, his documentary A Man Named Scott premieres on Amazon Prime Video on November 5.
