‘5 Hours of Doom’ is the follow-up to Cassie’s previous single ‘Shell’ and comes ahead of her debut full-length mixtape set for release on August 30th.
Cassie recently made her festival debut at Splash Festival in Germany performing alongside a lineup that included Gunna, Skepta, Yxng Bane and others. She also recently appeared in the BBC3 documentary series ‘Galdem Sugar which chronicled the challenges that women of Grime face in the industry.
Heavily inspired by the sound of Grime’s golden years, ‘5 Hours of Doom’ is a gutsy track that sees Cassie spit bars with the ferocity and spunk of a veteran. T-Roadz, the 13-year-old MC from Birmingham also features on the track confidently going toe to toe with Cassie.
