Offering an experimental sound with a euphoric, gospel feel to its production and bringing in notable NYC-based, Japanese keyboardist Big Yuki (Robert Glasper, ATCQ, J Cole), it also points to the increasing calibre of Marques’ artistic circles.
Alongside support from heavyweight tastemakers incl. i-D, MIXMAG and HUNGER, BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and DJ Target have been quick to proclaim Marques a singular new talent.
