Erick The Architect, a multi-hyphenate artist, rapper, and producer, follows up his most recent official release “No Ice” with AKTHESAVIOUR with a captivating new jam Parkour”, layering his signature vocals and soulful energy over an intricately woven instrumental made by GRAMMY and Mercury Prize winner and close friend James Blake.

“Parkour” features a seamless collaboration between two of the most accomplished artists in the United Kingdom and the United States today. The song deals with themes such as relationship breakup, mental strength, and determination.

Erick gained even more notoriety in 2022 after his groundbreaking Future Proof EP dropped in 2021, thanks to his first performance at COLOURS and an appearance in FADER’s then-novice “Hanging Out With” series. The Brooklyn favourite has contributed to the production of several notable albums and singles, including the most recent release by rap superstar Joey Bada$$, 2000, as well as James Blake’s GRAMMY-nominated EP Before and several singles by Powers Pleasant, including “Overseas” featuring Maxo Kream, Bas, and Kenny Mason and the debut album by Col3trane, Lush Life.

Already in 2023, Erick has clocked notable features on the epic track “Candle Flame” by dance pioneers Jungle [9M+ Spotify plays] and with artists like Lord Apex, Catching Flies, and Whyte Fang. Erick dropped in unexpectedly with Loyle Carner to perform their hit track “Let It Go” at Erick’s London-area shows during their UK tour.
