DaniLeigh’s Memorial Day weekend ended on a sour note.
The singer, whose given name is Danielle Curiel, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning on charges of DUI and hit-and-run causing injury to a moped rider. TMZ has received a police report detailing how early Tuesday morning, witnesses reported seeing Dani “travelling at a high rate of speed” and “weaving in and out of traffic” near Miami Beach.
Someone on foot saw her hit a person on a scooter and drag the moped for a block before calling the police, who eventually pulled her over. The officer smelled alcohol on her breath and then had her do a field sobriety test and a Breathalyser, both of which she reportedly failed.
TMZ quotes cops as saying the Breathalyser showed blood alcohol levels of 0.145 and 0.148, nearly twice the legal limit. The police said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries, which included a broken spine and a lacerated kidney.
Dani, the mother of DaBaby’s kid, was arrested on three felony charges: DUI, fleeing the scene of an accident with significant bodily harm, and DUI damage to property.
