DMX was taken into custody in Spartanburg County, South Carolina for driving without a license late last night.
DMX, who has been in and out of prison for the last decade, caught yet another charge today. Though rather light compared to his previous offenses, DMX was arrested for driving without a license late last night in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
X was brought into Spartanburg County jail around 2 a.m, where he was charged for the crime. The Ruff Ryder went before a judge at 6 a.m., and was released shortly after paying a fine.
He reported that an officer spotted him at a gas station, and followed him a short distance before pulling him over. His five month old daughter was also in the car with him.
X seemed most frustrated with the fact that he was forced to wait hours in the jail just to pay a small fine.
“When I could have just paid the money right there on the spot,” said the rapper. “Basically it was just five hours wasted for nothing. I don’t have a court date or a court appearance.”
The Sheriffs report says that X was pulled over due to his many past traffic violations in the area. Excluding 2012, The NY rapper has been arrested at least once every year since 1999.
