Reality star Kim Kardashian may not be dating rap heavyweight Kanye West, however, the 31 year-old pseudo-socialite recently raved about Yeezy’s fashion genius.
Currently in France for Paris Fashion Week, Kim highlighted Ye’s prowess as a designer.
“I just love what he designs,” she gushed to us. “Look at me, I’m dressed head to toe in his stuff.” She was not wrong. She even wore his famous Giuseppe Zanotti shoes which cost nearly $6000!!! Does she feel people are unfairly harsh to him about his fashion line? Kim stood by Mr K: “In my view he’s a creative genius, I think he creates beautiful clothes that women want to wear”. Few might agree with this analysis, but if the route to a woman’s heart is via her wardrobe, we think that Kanye and Kim are meant to be. (My Daily UK)
The recent divorcee was just one of many high profile celebrities who showed support during Ye’s runway show last night (March 6).
Ms. Kardashian was sitting in the front row at Mr. West’s late-night showing at Paris Fashion Week, along with Alicia Keys, Sean Combs, Common and Azealia Banks, so maybe that gives some idea of the target customer he has in mind for a collection that seemed desperately trying to project both an aura of coolness and easy availability. In February, Khloe Kardashian explained why her sister and the rap star never worked out romantically.
“Kanye and Kim are friends. I love Kanye. Kanye is friends with Lamar [Odom] and myself. Kanye has been friends with Kim for a few years now. Not too long ago, Amber Rose went on the record and accused Kim of contributing to the downfall of her and then-boyfriend, Kanye West, back in 2010.
Rose went on to reenact her Star interview, paraphrasing what she told the reporter. “Kim is the home wrecker, I’m not the home wrecker. I don’t date men in relationships; I don’t do that to other women,” Amber said. “I got frustrated and I said it.” Part of the frustration came from the media-savvy Kardashian family, Amber said. “I feel like Kim and her family, they manipulate the media and they want people to believe what they want them to believe,” she said. “I just had to put the truth out there and I had to get it off my chest.” (RapFix)
