WWE professional wrestler CM Punk has come forward to apologize for unknowingly sparking a Twitter beef with R&B star Chris Brown but admits he still wants a physical showdown with the Grammy-winning singer.
In CM Punk’s self-recorded video, he initially apologizes for their issues going public but later continues to throw Breezy under the bus.
“I never intended to include Chris Brown’s name in one of my tweets to start some sort of a controversy or gain publicity,” Punk said. “Now that he’s thrown accusions my way about using steroids, I feel the need to reply. … I don’t hit women, period — In my world, women are to be revered and respected and I firmly believe that in this life, there are consequences and repercussions for people’s actions and I don’t think Chris has paid for what he’s done. … So Chris wants to throw stones my way now, and I say that’s fine, but put some gloves on and get in the ring. I will choke you out and I will make you feel as weak and as powerless and scared and alone as any woman who has had the misfortune of knowing a sad, cowardly little boy such as yourself.” (TwitVid)
Following the video, Breezy hopped on Twitter and vowed to address him one final time.
“Note:today will be the last day I bring @cmpunk existence up!The confrontations that people continuously bring my way are very amusing.,” he tweeted Tuesday (February 21) night.

A few days ago, CM Punk got at Brown through a Twitter challenge.
“I would like @chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a #wrestlemania moment,” he tweeted Sunday. (CM Punk’s Twitter)
Shortly after CM’s remark, Brown responded by accusing him of steroid usage and then sarcastically waving off the wrestler’s taunt.
“Positivity regardless of how u feel! @CMpunk contact my assistant and I’ll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!,” he tweeted back. (Chris Brown’s Twitter)
