After the apprently Nazi-inspired lyric video generated more controversy than it did props, Nicki Minaj’s “Only” returns to our front page today with the official visuals. Featuring appearances from all four of our performers, the visuals take an unexpectedly gruesome turn, using stark contrast ratios to convey a sense of terror.
When “Only” dropped last month, readers were a bit hesitant to get behind the uncomfortable subject matter on this one. Regardless, the record has seen a fair share of success on Top 40 radio. Perhaps attitudes have changed.
