The London-based artist is back with the brand new visuals for her latest single ‘FAMILIAR’.
Produced by Chopstix, ‘Familiar’ sees Nissi bringing together, her Jazz-Funk roots, with lush Afrobeats and R&B soundscapes, to deliver a fun, positive, and uplifting jam. Backed by lush talking drums, synth keys and horn arrangements, the infectious instrumentation provides the perfect sound-bed for Nissi to shine vocally and spread her positive vibe.
For the ‘Familiar’ music video, Nissi links up with burgeoning video director Labi (Wretch 32, Skepta, Fekky), to create an artistic dance-centric visual representation of the fun, sexy and creative vibe that the song lyrics portray. Featuring fine art, graphics and shoe designs crafted by Nissi herself, the visuals also show the fine artist side of Nissi, who is also a painter and art director.
