Noah “40” Shebib may be hard at finishing up Drake’s Views From the 6 (it’s unclear whether he’s also living out of a tent in Camp OVO), but he still had time to hot box the whip with Cypress Hill’s B-Real on the latest episode of The Smokebox. Over a couple of joints, Drake’s right hand man talks about working on VFT6, his love for Premo, Canadian basketball, marijuana reform and his unique production process.

I try to put myself in a place that’s bizarre. I’ll like only listen to The Smiths or something when I’m making a record. I’m not listening to what’s hitting the radio or what people are dropping. I’m trying to almost stay away from that stuff to focus on something different.

Views From the 6 is out this April.
