Noah Slee “Rampant Wild Free” Video

Noah Slee - Rampant Wild Free

Berlin-based, New Zealand-born Noah Slee is an artist on the rise. Known for his smooth-like-honey vocals and highly relatable narratives, the recent signee to Australian tastemaker label Wondercore Island (Hiatus Kaiyote, Oscar Key Sung, Sampa The Great), today unveils visuals for ‘Rampant Wild Free’, taken from debut EP to your inner hippie & cos you fly as fuck “.

Created with the help of a team of friends and collaborators, including creative director Tala_Who(?) and self-taught videographer Sam Templeton, the video paints the tantalising story of a budding, yet hesitant attraction. Interweaved in and amongst the lovers narrative between Fily and Elijah Hook , are glimpses into Noah’s life in Berlin – surrounded by friends, drinking in Spätis (24-hour corner stores), and dancing and fooling around on a night out.

Whilst it was our aim to keep the narrative simple, we couldn’t overlook the depth of Noah’s lyrics. The relationship between girl and boy spawned out of this desire, then developed further over the course of the night of the shoot. The final music video is very much an organic product of the music, the people, and the city in which it was filmed.Sam Templeton

Slee’s soulful, dulcet tones are easy to get lost in, but the intrinsic messaging within his music is not to be dismissed – fraught with yearning and a very tangible sense of what it means to truly embody the characteristics of a generation of Millennials.

The banger style track, originally produced by Ben Esser , also enjoyed a remix by Tall Black Guy earlier this year.
