NorthSideBenji Releases “Prophecy” EP Alongside “5 AM In London” Video

NorthSideBenji, a captivating Canadian musician, has been making waves for a while now. Today, he releases his new EP, Prophecy, which includes the single “5 AM In London,” as well as a video for the track. NorthSideBenji is a formidable foe, thanks to his explosive bars and his own type of futuristic hip-hop, for which he has achieved worldwide acclaim.

Over a synth that sounds like it might have been lifted straight from Labrinth’s mesmerising Euphoria score, NorthSideBenji raps, “We in London,” on “5 AM in London.” Over the last few years, NorthSideBenji has spent a lot of time in London, Dubai, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. This has given him the chance to make real connections with musicians on every continent. As a result, he has worked with major UK groups like Nines and Headie One. With a fresh feeling of confidence and flair, NorthSideBenji returns with five brand new songs on “Prophecy,” expanding masterfully on his introspective, meditative, lyrical, and dark, seductive flow. The song “5AM in London” has a captivating sound and a fantastic music video.

A “tribute to my late brother’s kid and a taste of what’s to come musically,” as NorthSideBenji puts it, “Prophecy” is the first single from an upcoming album.

‘Prophecy’ follows the success of his recent single, ‘Way Too Much Love,’ and last year’s collaboration, ‘One In the Chamber,’ with UK drill artist Unknown T, which Complex called a’reiteration of his presence at the top of Toronto’s rap scene.’
