Osei The Native is a rapper from Mississauga, Ontario. Originally born in Boston and a former resident of Ghana, it would be conservative to say that Osei is a cultured individual, this is reflected in his music.
“You don’t understand, I ain’t scared of you motherfuckers” is the quote from legendary comedian Bernie Mac that starts this slow burning track. In Bernie Mac, Osei speaks to overcoming adversity in your own right. In the hook of the song Osei calls out a common Toronto term “Two Twos” which is equivalent to phrases like “matter a fact” or “true say” the rest of the hook, speaks for itself…
